I am an award-winning photographer and artist based in New York. Known for my poetic imagery of rituals and rites of passage from all over the world, I have criss-crossed the globe with my cameras, lenses and spirit of adventure.
My work is interpretive in nature and incorporates the use of infrared light and the invisible light spectrum. My ongoing project “Still Points in a Turning World” is a lifelong series exploring vanishing cultures and traditions. Her other bodies of work include the World of Dance, the Spirit of the West and the Mermaids of Coney Island.
My photography has garnered many awards, and is shown in galleries internationally and published extensively. Recent exhibitions of my work have taken place at The Annenberg Space for Photography in conjunction with the "Life: A Journey Through Time" exhibition, and recent awards include the International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie, Paris (Px3), Humanity Photo Awards.
My work has recently been featured on the BBC Picture Desk, the Huffington Post, Featureshoot, aCurator, and Kinzeuro in France.
