This position will support a client based in northern New Jersey and New York. The engagement is expected to continue through August 2018, with the possibility of extension through September.
A new project management tool is being implemented across a global IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for leading and/or supporting one or more change management initiatives - including overall assessment, introduction of the change management communication plan, stakeholder engagement, etc. You must have past experience supporting Change Management initiatives in a Big 4 firm (or a culture that closely resembles that of a Big 4 firm). Enterprise software implementation experience is also required.
Change Assessment: Work with the business process teams to assess change readiness and project risk related to change. Familiarity with a structured approach to developing a change management strategy, and defining and delivering a change management solution.
Stakeholder Impact: Proactively work with client project leadership to identify and address resistance and change readiness challenges associated with change.
Organization Alignment: Work with relevant client leadership to develop/ redefine/ confirm roles, procedures, responsibilities, accountabilities, support systems and incentives that address and reflect the changes identified. Assess and recommend solutions to address process changes, changes in job roles, and skills gaps associated with change solutions.
Communications: Plan, draft and execute change communications amongst all levels of leadership and support both within the project team and the client organization.
Organization Involvement & Ownership: Create, utilize, and enable structures for ensuring engagement, involvement and ownership of the change and the results to relevant stakeholder groups.
Leadership/Sponsorship Alignment: Work with Client leadership and executive teams to establish and maintain the commitment necessary to address workforce transition challenges that might arise.
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details.
Essential Functions and Required Skills:
Bachelors or Masters Degree.
Tech Savvy (Able to input information seamlessly into MS PowerPoint/Word/etc.); Experience supporting OCM efforts for enterprise software implementation projects is required.
Proven Consulting Industry experience (Big 4 firm or similar), demonstrated through 5+ years of Change Management experience.
Experience conducting interviews and/or focus groups, identifying key themes and concerns.
Experience in managing client relationships and seeking additional opportunities to serve the client.
Ability to draft a variety of communications including executive emails, management presentations, and/or marketing collateral.
Ability to provide coaching for various levels of leadership in leading and managing change.
Must have experience with managing projects and change management initiatives.
