I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University where I studied Economics and Psychology. I am also a trained creative writing group facilitator in the Amherst Writers and Artists Method developed by Pat Schneider. At the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I studied with the world's top health and wellness experts and was certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.
After being a caregiver for over 10 years since my 30s, I embarked on a journey of exploration and discovery that led to new insights and opportunities when my Mom passed away in 2014. As an introvert, being healthy in mind, body and spirit means that I start my day with a morning practice that includes reading, writing and meditation. Because I need lots of quiet time to replenish and recharge, I also do yoga regularly and use doTERRA essential oils to ease feelings of tension and promote relaxation. Taking good care of my body is also a priority. I eliminated 90% of processed foods from my diet and now eat lots of leafy greens and whole foods. I love cooking simple and nourishing meals, sometimes by candlelight, and often with deep gratitude. Creative writing is a tool I use to process my emotions and express myself. This has helped me to blossom in so many ways. in 2014, for example, I traveled to Malawi to lead creative writing workshops with orphans and disenfranchised women. I'm delighted to now support women to find and shine their hidden light in the world.
